Asset Information Officer

Leighton Contractors Investment and Facility Management is currently working on infrastructure projects across a range of sectors such as Transport, Defence, Education & Health. Our team is responsible for the safe passage of over 180 million vehicles per year that use the roads we operate and maintain in Australia and New Zealand, and the patients that visit the over 40 hospitals across Australia we service.

We are seeking two suitably qualified and experienced Asset Information Officers to join our Sydney and Brisbane offices. This role is suited to an innovative and motivated individual who wants to fast track their career by applying their skills in a well resourced and strong team environment. 

Reporting to the Asset Manager, you will be responsible for the effective delivery of asset management services via the successful implementation and ongoing maintenance of Asset Management systems across sites.

Your duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Determining and verifying physical asset data in field using a range of survey techniques;
  • Compiling, updating and maintaining accurate asset registers, maps and systems including entry of financial, physical and spatial asset data across all asset types;
  • Designing of data surveys with appropriate criteria to ensure data collected is of sufficient quality and managing the collection of asset condition data via both internal and external assessors
  • Assisting with the generation of asset related maps, reports, models and forecasts to assist in asset management planning and delivery;
  • Producing accurate and timely reports, as requested by senior management
  • Assist in the implementation and creation of "best practice" in AMS through continual learning and keeping abreast of the latest changes in technology.
  • Demonstrating on a daily basis personal behaviours that uphold LCPL values

The ideal applicant will have at least 3 years experience in Asset Management Systems and/or GIS. Experience with SQL report writing is essential.
